Alease Passmore Edwards

Alease P. Edwards, 88, of Keysville, passed away on December 6, 2012, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of W. A. Edwards, Jr. She is survived by her son, Larry Edwards and his wife Carolyn; seven granddaughters: Debbie Rushing, Brenda Wade James, LouAnne Edwards, Carey Hare, Veronica Molina, Mary Drinkwater Chappell, and Bethiah Bell Rick; and eight great-grandchildren: Damian, Kendrick, Ethan, Ilora, Dalton, Bronson, Sydney, and Johnny.
She spent 42 years in the banking business and retired from the Bank of America in Victoria, VA. She loved flowers, animals, travel, and her God, Jehovah.
A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.., Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
