Doris Vassar Wallace

Doris Vassar Wallace, age 87, of Drakes Branch, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold N. Wallace. Doris is survived by her sons, Gilmer Ledbetter of Hewitt, Texas and James Lisa Wallace of Drakes Branch, VA; her daughters, Brenda Bill Kusterer of Quinton, VA, Kathy Bagby of Richmond, VA, Peggy Doug Agee, Amy Garrision, and Mary Sidney Sands, Jr., all of Drakes Branch, VA; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia, with interment to follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, 202 Clark Street, Farmville, VA 23901.
