Drewry Lincoln Hudson

Drewry Lincoln Hudson, age 86, of Drakes Branch, VA died September 5, 2012 at his home. Mr. Hudson was born February 12, 1926 in Clover, VA, to William and Lottie Hudson. He was a member of the Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church, worked in the Textile Industry for many years before retiring and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Hudson is survived by a son, D. Raymond Hudson Wanda; a daughter, Annette H. Card Ronnie; and a granddaughter, Breanna R. Card all of Drakes Branch. He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy H. Carter of Cary, NC and Peggy H. Ciccolini of Manassas, VA; and two brothers, Barney Hudson of Clover, VA and Mack Hudson of Richmond, VA. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah W. Hudson; a grandson, Trevor B. Card; two brothers, Harold Hudson and Daniel Hudson; and two sisters, Bessie Spedden and Nellie Blundell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in the Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012.
