Frank G. Thorpe Jr., age 86, of Saxe, Virginia, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Teresa J. Thorpe; two daughters, Nancy J. Shipp, and Tammy A. Morris; four grandchildren, Stephanie Shipp Cross, Abby Shipp, Ashley and Joshua Morris; and two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Elizabeth Cross. Frank retired from Federal Services after 38 years of service. He was an active member of the Wylliesburg Baptist Church. Praise the Lord!
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is in charge of arrangements.
