Herman Donald Atkins

Herman Donald Atkins, age 66, of Keysville, VA, formerly of Crewe, VA passed away Saturday, April 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman P. Atkins and Lillian Smith Atkins; a brother, Douglas Atkins. Donald is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Spillman Charlie; Lisa Haley Dennis; four grandchildren, Shannon Spillman, Lindsey Spillman, Curtis Moorefield, Brittney Moorefield; a brother, Dewey Atkins Carolyn; and five sisters, Earline Fix Henry, Geraldine Letterman Doug, Alice Payne, Nancy Childress, Ellen Jennings Gene.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, in the Crewe Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Modern Woodmen Hall in Crewe, VA, on Friday, April 17, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
