Timothy Wayne Foster of Chase City, Virginia, passed from this life peacefully in his sleep at his home on Sunday, December 5, 2010. He was born to James Monroe and Edna Adams Foster on May 31, 1960, in the state of Georgia. He was 50 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers, James Vernon, Jeffrey Snow, and Mark Dwayne; two sisters, a baby girl, and Debora Sue Foster. Also, preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Taylor W. and Lizzie S. Adams; and paternal grandparents, Cleon H. and Madge D. Foster. He is survived by his mother; three brothers; Ronald L. Butch and Sue, Terry A. and Patricia, Robert D. Foster and Yvonne; two sisters, Linda F. Hudson, E. Darlene Foster and Cliff. He is also survived by a special friend, Ruth Z. Powell and family, who called him Papa Tim. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, Chris, Amber, Kristin, Stephanie, Cierra, Autumn, Buck, Tara, Dee Dee, Robbie, Haley, Jessica, ShoShanah, Shannon, Brigitte, and Sara. Also, several great nieces and nephews, and many others who loved him.
Arrangements will be handled by the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m., and the funeral will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 2 p.m., both will be held at the funeral home.
