Jim and I often visited Alma at the Carrington. We had such great conversations about her childhood and storing food for the next winter. She was always so pleasant and kind. Until recently, she used to stand at the front door and wave at us as we pulled out of the parking lot. She even opened the car door and made sure I was safely inside. Such a special lady! We will miss her smiles so much.
