My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to F.E., Brice, and the entire family of Mrs. Bertha, as I so fondly knew her. My grandmother worked for Mr. and Mrs. Carter for most of her life and so we knew the family well. Mrs. Bertha was a “real lady”. She would often get me to help her out with some tasks around the house and we remained in touch. I will miss her and she will always hold a special place in my heart. May God comfort and strengthen you all and my deepest sympathy is extended to the family. God Bless You!

I met Mrs. Carter through the stories and memories shared with me by her son, F.E., who I have the pleasure and honor of having as a colleague. His memory of her is evidence of a life well lived. I know that she is deeply missed by her friends and family, who have my heartfelt sympathies during this time of loss.
