I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord; she that believeth in me, though she were dead, yet shall she live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; and though this body be destroyed, yet shall I see God; whom I shall see for myself and mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger.

For none of us liveth to ourself, and none dieth to ourself. For if we live, we live unto the Lord; and if we die, we die unto the Lord. Whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord; even so saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors.

Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord: And let light perpetual shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace
    Amen

The Good Lord truly created a “shining light,” when he made dear Betty. She was amazingly kind & caring, to everyone she met; a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, & friend. I’ve never met a kinder soul, than Betty. She touched many lives, as a nurse, for 43 years. What an awesome gift of caring, kindness, healing & friendship, that her life exhibited, in her home, to her family & friends, hospital, & community. I feel honored to have met her, and known her, as a beloved sister-in-law, for many years. I will always remember her wonderful, outgoing, positive light, personality, ready smile, & dedication to serving others. This world would be a better place with more Betty Gray Holts, in it. May you rest in peace, dear friend. You lived a life of dedicated service, & kindness, to others. There is no greater gift to us, or to mankind, than that. My thoughts & prayers are with you, dear Wayne, Jim, Carlton, Tim, Chris, Ron, Brenda, Bonnie, & your families, during this time of loss. Betty was truly a “one in a million” gift of love, to all of us, & her spirit will remain with you, always. With sympathy & love, Louise Canada

It is an honor to be able to call Betty a friend. She was a loving, generous, caring and totally honest lady. She had a sweet spirit about her which brightened my day many times. As sad as it is that’s she’s gone, the saved among us will see her again. And no doubt, in Heaven, she is still caring for the needs of others. I loved her dearly.
