Cassie Case Morton, formerly of Charlotte C. H., went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was born on September 25, 1930, to the late John Case and Susie Goin Case. Cassie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Theodore Morton, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Napier of Keysville; son, Earl T. Morton, Jr., and wife, Gina of Powhatan; daughter, Linda Napier and husband, Tim of Keysville; five grandchildren, Melissa Parks and husband, Brian, Hali Mayton and husband, Mike, Earl T. Morton, III “Teddy” and wife, Mandy, Alyson Oseguera and husband, Mario, and Tyler Napier and wife, Jessica; seven great-grandchildren, Mary-Laurel Parks, Baylee Morton, Cassie, Arrington, and Tamlynn Mayton, Rhett and Brynnlee Napier; a sister, Jean Paxson of New Jersey; and brother, Marcus Case of Keysville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte C. H. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 pm. Monday, September 17, 2018. Contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad, P O Box 330, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
