Charles Malvin Hammock, age 84, of Keysville, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; his parents, Robert and Gertrude Hammock; brothers, Bobby, Gene, Ricky, Buck, Billy; and sisters; Bernice and Juanita. He is survived by his three children, Robin Sullard (Jeff), Chuck Hammock (Esther), Wendy Boyles (Mike); five grandchildren, Chris, Kaitlin, Amber, Allison and Kinsley; three great-grandchildren, Meadow, Devyn and Maya Jo; siblings: Virginia, Betty Jane, Ralph, and Richard. Charles was a hard-working man who lived for and loved his family and friends. He would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite pastime was playing cards and spending time with his family. May God continue to richly bless each of you.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Meherrin Baptist Church, Meherrin, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is serving the family.

Mr Charles was such a dear person and was always so thankful for everything anyone did for him. He has touch my heart in so many ways in the short time I was blessed to get to know him.
