Corey Joseph Vitale-Rose, age 24, of Cumberland, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Corey was born on July 19, 1995, in Passaic, New Jersey, and moved to Farmville in 2000. He was an up-and-coming musician and a part-time Carpenter’s apprentice. He loved his music and enjoyed life to the fullest. He leaves behind his father, Norman Rose; mother, Dawn Vitale; his brother, Jay Vitale. Corey was preceded in death by both grandmothers and grandfathers. You’ll always be in our hearts and truly missed. Rest in peace my son.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Meherrin Presbyterian Church, Meherrin, VA. A reception will be held following the service. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
