Della Mann Duffie, age 78, of Charlotte Court House, VA went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 25, 2024. She was born March 5, 1945, to Ira and Lillian Mann. Della was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Chucky” Duffie; brothers, Ronnie Mann, James Mann; and sister Wanda Kelly.
She is survived by two sons, William W. Duffie Jr. and Steven Duffie (Amber); three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Goodrich (Thomas), Josephine Shores (Lawrence); and brother Scottie Mann (Tammy).
Della enjoyed her long career at Charlotte Primary Care and touched a lot of hearts there. She loved her vacations to the beach with friends and family, attending church at Phenix United Methodist and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday evening February 29, 2024, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Heart Association, The Barksdale Cancer Foundation, or The Gideons International to send a GideonCard and dedicate Bibles in memory of Della. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge the arrangements.
