My dear big brother Dennis, I will remember you always for your strong work ethic, your love of muscle cars especially your first car a classic red and white Duster jacked up with wide back tires, your bravery as a young boy climbing to the top of a tobacco barn, handling a stubborn old farm mule, you hunting squirrels and prepping them for Mama to cook, your natural innate ability to fix lawn mowers and power saws, you were so special and I will forever be grateful for your example. Your hard work on earth is done. Rest in peace big brother.

Such a humble and kind person that was loved by all of the Forrest family. I remember the nights around the fire over at Max’s house, always a good time with you and the family. Dennis, you will forever remain in our hearts, in our thoughts and your family in our prayers. Rest easy brother, your work on this earth is done.

My prayers are with Dennis’ family. He was my 1st cousin and I knew him well when we were both children, but sadly, I did not know him very well as an adult. My Mama, Christine was big sister to his Daddy, Irvin. I was traveling west on Route 58 toward Emporia when Lisa called me about Dennis’ accident. My first thought was what a sad and tragic loss. My second thought was I hope he met his maker and was welcomed into heaven for an everlasting life. My memories of him and his family are nice ones. GOD bless you all.

I’m so sorry to hear about Dennis passing away. I always remembered him when I saw a red and white Duster at a car show.
