Doris and I became friends at Central Baptist Church in Altavista. Her boy s and mine were in church groups. She always had a smile on her face-She is such a sweet angel now!

Our family has such fond memories of Doris and her family from many years ago while living in
Virginia. She always welcomed me on the Crews farm as though I was her family. We all had such a good time when “Doc” would let us all get in the back of the farm truck and go to the little store in Saxe for treats. I haven’t had contact with her for many years, but always kept up with her through my best friend ever, Judy Worsham. She will always be a good memory and I know the family will miss her deeply. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love to all. Ann Slemp and Family
