
Ward, Ginger M. went to be with Jesus and her son, Justin on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lotus Marker of Crewe, VA.
Ginger was a beloved kindergarten teacher for Nottoway County Public Schools for thirty-seven years before her retirement.
Ginger is survived by the loves of her life, her grandsons, Levi Wilmer and Jordan Wilmer. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Beany Owens of North Chesterfield, VA.
Ginger’s celebration of life funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. The Reverend Wayne Marker will be officiating. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.

My husband and I want to give our condolence! Ginger taught me how to be a teacher who cares. I had the privilege of working with her for 13 years- Eight years as a K teacher and 5 as a Principal.
