Helen Newcomb Baxley, age 86, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lena Newcomb.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, Keysville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.

I was very sorry to hear about Helen. She was a very sweet lady. I didn’t know any of her family but to her family, I send my thoughts and prayers. I’ve known Helen for a lot of years.

Helen was a dear friend to me for many years at Drakes Branch Mill. We stayed in contact by phone and I will miss her greatly. I had called her to to see if see was staying at the hotel in Keysville but never heard from her.
