Kelly Robert Anderson, age 60, of Abilene, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2023. He was born on May 29, 1962 in Virginia Beach. Kelly is preceded in death by his father William Anderson; two brothers, Jimmy Corey, Richard Burke, one sister, Brandy Anne Dunning; and step-father, Carl Dunning.

Kelly is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sherry Driskill Anderson; son, Paul Anderson; daughter, Sarah Anderson (Tony Dickhoff); granddaughter, Kalye Anderson; and many other friends and family whom he loved dearly.

Kelly was a staple in Charlotte and the surrounding counties as a radiator repairman. Working on vehicles was his passion. He was also an avid fisher and enjoyed fishing in Back Bay each summer. The family is comforted in knowing he is with our Lord Jesus Christ and no longer suffering.

The celebration of life will be on Friday, April 7, at 1:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Darlington Heights, VA where he and his wife are members. A luncheon is to follow. The family wishes donations in his memory be made to Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
