We would like to send our most heartfelt condolences to the LeRoy Shook family. Our prayer is that God will send His Holy Spirit to fill the void you have with his passing. We come to know Garnet and LeRoy during the building of our Veterans Memorials in Keysville and Danville. I met w/ him to obtain the benefits of his building experience. No one could have been more cooperative . Our mutual friend, Col. John Hatfield was helpful to us both. Since then, we have met for lunch and just had a great time in fellowship together. I will miss him, not only as a friend, but as one of my Hero’s. Only God in Heaven knows what LeRoy experienced in combat in Korea .
His Danville Friends and Comrade, Dave and Nancy Newman
