I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Lewis Wilkerson family. Uncle Lewis was such a sweet, kind, gentle loving man that I really only got to know later in my life. He was always so concerned about my ailing mother. And when he could no longer physically get up her steps and in the house, he would fearlessly drive his motorized wheelchair up her back ramp and they would just sit and visit at the back door. It was so sweet. I’m so very grateful for his spirit and example. He was very special. My thoughts are with all of his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Lewis coming in Sheldon’s when I worked there. He always reminded me of my grandmother he had her personality. He was a great comfort to my mother in the years before she passed, she enjoyed the talks and visits with him. I know he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with your family.
