Madeline June Hermann

Madeline June Hermann, 95, of Green Bay, went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 24, 2019, after an extended illness. She was born on February 2, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Florence Sprinkle; and her husband, Frank Hermann. Madeline attended Longwood College to pursue a degree in Business. After school she worked at the Pentagon and for Standard Oil Company in clerical positions. Madeline is survived by her children, Stephaine Deegan, Gregory Hermann, Elizabeth Lawless and Teresa Glascock; and grandchildren, Erin Sandow, Mathew Glascock, and Christopher & Michael Gray. She had four great-grandchildren, Caleb Glascock, Makenzie Sandow, and Ethan and Emma Gray. Madeline will be remembered as a lady of great faith and courage. She will be missed by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Meherrin, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
