Mary Geraldine Tucker Moore, “Gerry” age 85, of Keysville, VA, died September 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by husband, William “Billy” Moore of Keysville, VA. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Buchanan of Chester, VA and Sheila Dunaway of Keysville, VA, sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Marvin Hines of Nathalie, VA, sister, Lucille Johnson of Baltimore, MD, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends Sunday, September 10th at 1:30 p.m. at Charlotte Court House United Methodist Church followed by the funeral at 3 p.m., with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Farmville, VA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Charlotte Court House United Methodist Church. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.

I am sorry to learn of Gerry’s death. She worked at Randolph-Henry with me for several years, and I remember her as being perky, stylish, and such a pleasant co-worker. She will certainly be missed in the Charlotte County community. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family.

Bill and I were very saddened to hear of Gerry’s passing. She was a member of the Friday Followers bible study group for many years and passed on her wisdom and insight to the group. Gerry is now in the presence of the Lord Jesus and has a big smile on her face. May her family find comfort in her faith in eternal life. Gerry touched the lives of many people in the community. She will be missed.
