Dear Pekarchik families- as a young child your mom was the first woman i would know that balanced working, being a very present mom, and going to school for further education. Her warmth and kindness and beautiful voice are images that will always be with me – and her readiness to accept any additions to life – more kids, more pets. Her kindness and compassion and capacity to find more love and space seemed truly limitless. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. And this world has such a need for people like her at this time. Big hugs and love, Elaine
