Norman Wilmoth, 52, of Drakes Branch, Virginia, departed this earth on September 26, 2024. Norman was born to John & Pauline Wilmoth on June 15, 1972. He was preceded in death by his father John and his sister Susan.

Norman leaves behind his loving wife, Crystal Wilmoth; his mother Pauline, both of Drakes Branch, Virginia; as well as his daughter, the apple of his eye, Maggie. Norman also leaves behind a brother William (Judy) of South Hill, Virginia. Other survivors include his stepsons Matthew (Ashley) & Dillon Nyquist, and step grandson, Christian Nyquist, multiple nieces, nephews, cousins as well as his close friend and “sister”, Melissa Mann of Randolph, VA. Norman will be remembered fondly for his love of animals. He was a caring son, a great husband, a wonderful father, and a forever friend. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He lived life on his terms and to the fullest. And boy, could he make you laugh! He will always be loved and will always be missed.

At the deceased’s request, there will be no service and his remains will be in the care of his wife. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.

Crystal I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Norman since I first came to VA in 1996. He was a good man, a caring friend, and a gentleman. I hadn’t since him much over the years but when our paths would cross in town, he always had that infectious smile and a warm greeting that brightened my day. I will miss seeing him. He will always be missed by all that knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. May God give you all peace and comfort.
