Patsy Currin Dunegan Brazil, age 83, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She has been reunited in heaven with her parents, Admiral Dewey Coley and Flossie Loretta Currin Coley. Patsy embraced life and cherished friends and family. She walked through life in amazement of all Gods wonders.
She will be dearly missed by her life’s love and husband of 45 years, Edgar F. Brazil. Patsy lives on in the hearts of her surviving children, Margaret “Peggy” Loretta, Ray Joseph, Jay Dewey Dunegan; and her grandchildren,
Molly and Austin May, Raymond, Madeline, and Marcus Dunegan.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2597 Bruceville Road, Meherrin, VA 23954, with internment to follow in the church cemetery. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Patsy. I had not seen her for many years but I will never forget her. She was like a mentor to me when I started working at Mazo Lerch 35 years ago. She was always so nice to me and helped me find my way in the food business. She was one of those people you meet in life and at the time don’t realize the positive impact they had on you. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

I was so sad to hear of your loss. Your Mom was my Mentor for K12 Foodservice. She was many people’s hero. I thought she was the coolest thing with her cellphone in a box, driving her red mustang? convertible. She was golden, her smile contagious. Loved by all.
