Raymond “Rainbo” Shearin Scott, age 54, of Keysville, Virginia passed away on September 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Shearin Stegall; stepfather, Roer Treadway Amos; and sister, Tina Spain.
Rainbo is survived by his beloved mother, Virginia Stegall Amos; brother, Shelby G. Seamster (Vicki); nephew, Shelby A. Seamster; his “child,” Amanda Snodgrass (Billy); lifelong neighbor, Marie Amos; best friends, Willie Allen & Ryan Powell; extended family and many friends.
He was the owner of Ontario Industrial Corporation and manufactured farm equipment. His love for tractors began at an early age. If any local farmer needed repair work, they would find Rainbo. He was known for his procrastination, jokes and stories. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. He recently discovered a passion of singing karaoke on the weekends. He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Philbeck’s Community Music Hall located at 6228 George Washington Hwy., Keysville, VA 23947. Light refreshments will be provided.
