Ronald “Calvin” Seagle, age 78, of Keysville, VA, passed away peacefully to his Heavenly home, Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Owner of Seagle Trucking, Inc., he was an over the road driver for 55 years and he loved trucking. Calvin was also known by his CB handle, “Fat Rabbit.” He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Janie Seagle. Surviving are his wife, Janice L. Seagle; one daughter, Bonnie S. Parsons; one son, Ronnie Seagle all of Keysville; five grandchildren, Brandie P. French (Jeff), Chris Seagle, Tanya Seagle, Benjamin Parsons, Holly Boyd; twelve great-grandchildren, Bradley, Bailey, Berkley, Blaze, Cohyn, Coltyn, Abby, Christa, CJ, Thomas, Anna, Justin, Jax; one sister, Patsy Smith (Neil); and one brother, Jerald Seagle (Ann).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
