Ronald “Ronnie” Glenn Currin, age 71, of Keysville, VA, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl, Sr. and Lucille Currin.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Beverly Currin; his sons, Brian and Greg and his wife, Melanie; his daughter, Missy Horn and husband John; and six wonderful grandchildren, Josh, (Marissa) Ben, Ethan, Jacob, Taylor and Jarrett. He is also survived by two brothers, Earl Currin, Jr. (Cookie) and Gerald Currin. He is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was a dedicated member of Tussekiah Baptist Church and was well known as “Farm Boy”. He was a tobacco farmer and a brilliant mechanic. He loved his family, gardening and his dear friends at Hanks’ store.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2023, at Tussekiah Baptist Church with the interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tussekiah Baptist Church or the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
