Roy Lewis Wilmouth, age 85, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. He was the son of the late Henry F. and Gertie Pennell Wilmouth. Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Henry F. Wilmouth, Jr.; and a sister, Audrey W. Jones. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Claudette Wilmouth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA. Due to COVID—19 please wear mask and social distance. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Eureka Baptist Church, 4757 George Washington Highway, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.

Cindy and I were Roy’s neighbors. We know he was moved to the nursing home in town, tried to visit before Thanksgiving but was not allowed to see him. Mr. Hicks informed us yesterday that Roy passed last month. He was a good man. I was privileged to spend time with him fixing old tractors, pickups and just talking about life’s problems.
He will be deeply missed, our prayers go out to you and the family.
