Ruby Harris Andrews, age 93, of Keysville, VA, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2019. She was born in Charlotte County, Virginia and lived there her entire life.  Ruby worked for Burlington Industries and then spent many years as a Home Health Aid with the Charlotte County Health Department.  She is survived by her brother, James A. Harris (Jean); three children, Steve, Tom and Susan; grandchildren, Jill Evans (Aaron), Blake Andrews (Selena); Chris Andrews (Ashley); and great-grandchildren, Jenna Evans, Lars Andrews and Lucas Andrews.  Ruby is also survived by her “adopted family” Terrileigh Cummins and Mabel Mason; many nieces and nephews and extended family.  She loved her family, friends, and community.  Ruby was a long time member of Ash Camp Baptist Church, Keysville, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church, Phenix, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Friday, September 20, 2019, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
