Sandy and I worked together at Crossroads for several years. She was a wonderful person and nurse, caring, professional, capable, intelligent. She deeply cared for and was devoted to her patients as she was to her family. The English author, Charles Dickens, wrote that nurses “Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts.” That sums up the fond memories I have of her. I am so sorry for your loss.
