Steven Glenn Andrews, 72, passed away on July 28, 2024, after several years of deteriorating health and a recent diagnosis of late stage pancreatic cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Berkeley Glenn Andrews and Ruby Harris Andrews, and by his wife, Charlotte Mason Andrews.
Steve is survived by his son, Chris Andrews, his daughter in law, Ashley Andrews, his grandsons, Lucas Andrews and Cash Andrews; his brother, Tom Andrews; his sister, Susan Andrews, his “sister” TerriLeigh Cummins; his niece, Jill Evans, and her daughter Jenna Evans; his nephew, Blake Andrews and his wife, Selena Andrews, and son, Lars Andrews; as well as his special friend and companion, Betty Lou Wolf.
Steve was an avid hunter and golfer. He was in the Navy for 10 years and then worked as a deputy sheriff and then as a truck driver. He loved really bad dad jokes. Playing Santa every year was one of his favorite things. We all remember his favorite ending line “….but I had a really good time…” That about sums it up.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
