Our beloved daddy and papa passed into eternal peace on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Agnes N. “Nell” Francis; and two beautiful granddaughters, Becca Francis and Autumn Cantrell.
Left to cherish his precious memory and laughter are his loving and devoted children; one son, Marvin Francis (Cheryle); five daughters, Delores Cantrell (Charles), Eleanor Smith (Roy), Anita Baldwin (Tommy), Melissa Price (Billy), and Donna Toombs (George); his loving grandchildren, Misty, Bridgette, Danielle, Shawna, Amber, Carrie, Logan, Gregory, Julia, Emily and John; his dear great-grandchildren, Tanner, Jordan, A. J., Bridglee, Wesley, Piper, Becklee, Jaxon, Eli, and Holden.
A man who lived his life to the fullest and made sure everyone around him did as well. He will live forever in our hearts with his love and laughter in our souls!
A very special and loving thank you to Pam Toombs, Afton Townsend and also Centra-Hospice for helping with his care and for loving our sweet daddy so much. You are forever a part of our family!
A private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2020, at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA. Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing is required. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
