William Judson Martin of Keysville, VA, went to be with the Lord at home surrounded by his family, Thursday, May, 20, 2021. He was 92 years old. He was the son of the late Kermit Martin and Lou Ellen Dix Martin.
William is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Dorothy Adams Martin; two sons, Tommy Martin of Dillwyn, VA, and Leonard Martin (Carolyn) of Keysville, VA; five grandchildren, Timmy Martin (Rachel), Suzanne Piercy, Stephanie Sturgis (Michael), Amy Carriker (Bryan), Adam Martin (Roxanne); eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. William loved the Lord and his family very much. He was always a hard working farmer. William was a member and a Deacon of Friendship Baptist Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Cool Spring Christian Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA. Public viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. May 22, 2021 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA.
