Ann Philbeck Goodroe passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Adis and Naomi Philbeck. She is survived by husband, Don Goodroe; daughter, Jenny Keller, granddaughter, Megan Samford, great-granddaughter, Naomi; son, Bobby Keller Wendy, granddaughters, Kathy, Kristin, Katie; new great-granddaughter, Emma; two brothers, Gene Philbeck Eva, Larry Philbeck Helen; two sisters, Peggy Haley Ralph, Fay Langford Jimmy; an extraordinary cousin, Joanne Panek; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous beloved cousins. One of Ann’s proudest accomplishments was co-authoring the history of Charlotte County, Rich In Deed.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Eureka Baptist Church, Keysville, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Philbeck Music Hall, 6228 George Washington Hwy., Keysville, VA 23947, in honor of her beloved parents. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
