Betty Herring Childress, age 76, of Keysville, VA passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015. She is survived by two sons, Danny Ray Childress and wife, Michele, James Russell Brown and wife, Janet; a daughter, Linda B. Valania and husband, James; a sister, Joan Hotts; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Atlie Childress.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Browning Duffer Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Amelia Veteran’s Cemetery, Amelia, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
