Blanche Taylor Peak

Blanche Taylor Peak, age 88, of Charlotte Court House, Virginia died Thursday, June 30, 2011. She was the daughter of the late John and Norma Thornton Taylor.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane P. Dunavant and her husband, Charlie; one son, Samuel W. Peak and his wife; Jane; six grandchildren, Dale Dunavant, Camie Brock, Jackie Harris, Sam Peak, John Dunavant, Hardy Dunavant; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Taylor Dickerson, Nellie Taylor Dickerson, and Lucy Taylor Macado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel P. Peak; and two brothers, Henry and Ab Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Rough Creek Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
