David George Norman

David George Norman, age 50, of Meherrin, VA passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his home.

David is survived by his wife, Laura Smith Norman; stepdaughter, Sydney Smith; father, Richard G. Norman (Debbie) of San Clemente, CA; mother, Virginia Gale Derringer (Chuck) of Meherrin, VA; sister, Heather N. Dix (Joey) of Keysville, VA; niece, Brittany N. Hall (Robby) of Richmond, VA; nephew, Joshua Easter Kennedy (Xavier) of Vermont; great-nephew, Titan Ortiz of Keysville, VA; two great-nieces, Josephine and Snow Ortiz of Keysville, VA; and numerous other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the Meherrin Volunteer Fire Department, 64 Moores Ordinary Road, Meherrin, VA  23954. Pastor Geraldo Alonso II will be officating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Memory of David to Meherrin Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
