David Lee Watson Sr.

David Lee Watson, Sr., age 70, of Keysville, VA passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Violet Watson; and his wife, Michelle Houston.

David is survived by six children, David L. Watson, Jr., and his wife, Audra, Pamala Odell Hague and her husband, Nathan, Amanda R. Watson and Joseph Maynard, Valerie Watson and Ron Tan, Emma Watson, and Sophia Watson; seven grandchildren, Alex Watson, Ben Watson, Leia Watson, Nathan Hague, Jr., Joshua Hague, Jeremiah Williams, and Olivia Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery, Meherrin. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Reverend Paul Wade will be officiating.
