Debora Walker Spencer

Debora Walker Spencer, 70, of Drakes Branch, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 8, 2025. Debora was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lula Walker, two brothers, Larry W. Walker and Virgil L. Walker; and her husband, Russel “Rabbit” Spencer.

Debora is survived by her devoted companion of twenty-five years, Samuel Haskins; two brothers, Richard Walker (Doris), Gary Walker (Shelby); and two sisters, Charlene Butler (Jimmy) and Darlene Cooter (Danny). She also leaves behind her two children, Danelle Bagley (Ron) and Adam Spencer (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, Juanestee and Maddox; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m.,  Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte Court House. The family will receive friends at 384 Watkins Drive, Charlotte Court House, VA, 23923, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Charlotte Courthouse Dixie Youth Baseball Park, PO Box 456, Charlotte Court House VA 23923. She loved watching her grandchildren play ball and tending the flower bed at the ball field. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
