Deborah Osborne “Debbie” Jones

Deborah Osborne “Debbie” Jones, age 63, of Charlotte Court House, VA passed away Monday, September 5, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie A. Osborne. Debbie is survived by her husband, of 42 years, James D. “Jimmy” Jones, a son, David Jones, her mother, Dorothy H. Osborne, a sister, Kim Pillow Rodney, three nephews, Dustin Pillow Kendall, Corbin Pillow, Benjamin Jones Teresa, three nieces, Christy Epperly Darren, Amy Morris Michael, Michelle Owens Greg; six great-nieces and great-nephews, Grady Pillow, Jessica, Austin, and Joseph Bane, Megan and Hanna Owens; and two brothers-in-law, Robert W. Jones Becky and John Michael Jones Marilyn. She was employed by Charlotte County Public Schools for 35 years as a Secretary and Bookkeeper. Debbie loved to read, enjoyed her flowers, loved traveling and taking pictures and sending cards to friends and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte C.H., VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016. Contributions can be made to the Charlotte County Retired Teacher’s Association, Charlotte County Rescue Squad, or the Barksdale Foundation.
