In Loving Memory of Dennis Clyde Haley

It is with deep sadness that we announce Dennis Clyde Haley, 59, of Phenix, Virginia passed away June 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Haley.

Dennis is survived by his mom, Barbara Napier Haley; son, Zane Haley (friend, Andrew Harrington). He is also survived by his sister, Debra Gilley (Kevin Gilley) and their children Katherine Gilley and John Gilley.

For many years, Dennis answered the call to help those in need as an Emergency Medical Technician. His was defined as service to others. Whether responding to emergencies or offering comfort during difficult moments, he served his community with compassion, courage, and professionalism. His commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Outside of work, Dennis found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He loved spending time fishing and hunting. Many of his happiest moments were spent enjoying the outdoors.

He was a lifelong member of Phenix Presbyterian Church.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and community.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Phenix Presbyterian Church, Phenix Virginia. Interment will follow in Rough Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Barbara Haley at all times. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phenix Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 254, Phenix VA 23959. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
