Dewey Edward Lacks

Dewey Edward Lacks age 60, of Highland Springs, VA, formerly of Saxe, VA, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Lacks; two sons, Shane E. Lacks, Sr., and his wife, Cheryl, Corey J. Lacks and his wife, Susan; four grandchildren, Shane E. Lacks, Jr., Chesney D. Lacks, Samantha Elizabeth, and John Linwood; two brothers, Donald Lacks and his wife, Brenda, Dennis Lacks and his wife, Joann; one sister, Tennie Adcox and her husband, Shin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dewey was preceded in death by his father, Herman F. Lacks, and a brother, John Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Emmanuel Bible Church, Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012.
