Tate and husband David; five grandchildren, Austin, Dalton and wife Kaley, Mary-Madison Lockridge, Allen Wayne Tate, and AnneMarie Tate; and five siblings, Carlton Powell, David Powell, Mike Powell, Betty Heath, and Sandra Stone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Virginia Powell, and her grandson, Daniel Wayne Tate.
