Dorothy Foster Newcomb

Dorothy Foster Newcomb, age 77, of Saxe, VA passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. She is survived by her children, Janet K. Newcomb of Saxe, VA, Kay N. Moore and husband, Mike of Chase City, VA, Carlton Neil Newcomb Sr., and wife, April of Flowery Branch, GA; four grandchildren, Amy and Tina Moore of Chase City, VA, Carlton Neil Newcomb, Jr. and wife, Amy of Acworth, GA; Christopher Newcomb of Cherry Point, NC, a brother, Carlton Foster and wife, Brenda of Amelia Court House, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde P. Newcomb; five sisters and four brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Lebanon United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon United Methodist Church Building Fund.
