Dorothy Elaine "Dot" Fox

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of Dorothy Elaine “Dot” Fox, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 70, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Born on May 13, 1955, in Keysville, Virginia, to the late A.B. and Frances Wilmouth. She was a guiding light to her family and will be remembered always for her strength, kindness, and love.

Dot was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Curtis; her daughter, Pam (Allen); and beloved grandchildren, Allen Jr. and Paige. She is also survived by her nephew, Will (Brandon), whom she considered a son; her brothers, Donnie (Yvonne) and Jimmy (Brenda); along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her cherished nephew, Matt; her sister, Terry; and her brothers, Ricky and Ronnie.

Dot will be remembered for her unwavering kindness and deep devotion to family. She touched countless lives with her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the joy she found in simply being with those she loved. Her absence leaves a profound void, but her love and example will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Southside SPCA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
