Dorothy Reamey Dixon

Dorothy Reamey Dixon, age 84, of Charlotte C. H., VA, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Carrie Carter Reamey; a daughter, Hilda Thompson; a grandson, Scott Carter; her identical twin sister, Mary Stanley; a sister, Jane Mottley; and a brother, Calvin Reamey.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Jimmy Lee Dixon; a daughter, Barbara Jean Boyter; a brother, Kenneth Reamey; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2017, in Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery, Keysville, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 5 to 6 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
