Durwood William Ramsey

Durwood William Ramsey, age 89, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014.
He is survived by two sons, Kyle Ramsey and wife, Dot, Stanford Ramsey and wife, Lila; two grandchildren, Derek and Heather Ramsey; and three great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Anita DeJarnette of Glayds.
Durwood was preceded in death by his wife Julia English Ramsey.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014, in Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church in Charlotte C. H., VA, with interment to follow in Falling River Baptist Church Cemetery, Brookneal, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Saturday, November 22, 2014, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad or the Charlotte Court House Volunteer Fire Department. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
