Frances Barnes Whitley

Frances Barnes Whitley, age 92, of Keysville, Va, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Marvin Whitley Sr. Frances is survived by a son, Clinton Marvin Whitley, Jr.; a daughter, Frances “Suzy” Whitley Amburn and her husband, Franklin; a granddaughter, Whitley Elizabeth Amburn. She was a graduate of Longwood University and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012, in the Meherrin Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Meherrin, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va, is in charge of arrangements.
