Frances Scott Green

Frances Scott Green, age 76, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Eva Newcomb Scott.  Frances was preceded in death by her husband E. W. “Sonny” Green; three daughters; four brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by four children Johnny Dix (Vanessa), Bonnie Dix, Anthony Green, and Patricia Shelton (Douglas); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Tharpe (James), Linda Mason (Tom); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Scott Family Cemetery, Drakes Branch. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
